In this modern era where technology has become the norm, it is common for jobs needing information and technology literacy. When I was watching this video on the highest-paying IT jobs in 2021, I remembered that I used to daydream about being an application or game developer. This interest started to spark when I first watched the movie Why Him? and the K-drama Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon where the leading characters had the aforementioned job.

I have always thought about how mobile application developers is a job mixed with practicality and creativity. It astonishes me how an app could make a certain task easier. Regarding this chosen career, I would like to develop a mobile application that is an all-around, intuitive planner. I would like to create an application similar to Notion which is a well-known all-in-one workspace. I plan to use programming language and development skills to create a facile application where the user can easily store their notes, memories, projects, or journal entries in an organized and aesthetic manner.

This application will belong to productivity apps as it will help users in managing databases, taking notes, and managing or prioritizing their tasks. Moreover, I would like to add a feature that brings up certain notes from a past day. This idea came from the memories feature on Facebook.

I decided to stick with this application as I have noticed Notion becoming famous this pandemic, however, as much as many users would want to try the software—they usually end up leaving it at the backburner because of its nature of being complicated to navigate. Notion has been a tremendous help for me, but it did take some time for me to master it. I want to create a mobile application that is efficient in making users stick with its aim to be productive and easily intuitive for users to navigate. It is the app that gives its users the certainty that they are productively living their life with meaning.
